Central Chronicle News
Raipur, Jun 20: Bharatiya Janata Party’s National Joint Organization General Secretary Shiv Prakash has called upon the party workers to make people of the country aware of the conspiracies being hatched by the opposition parties against the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. People have elected BJP governments in a large part of the country but opposition parties have not accepted the public mandate, he alleged while addressing the inaugural session of party’s state working committee meeting held at BJP State Office in Kushabhau Thakre Parisar here on Sunday.
Shiv Prakash said that for the first time in India, a government came to power to realise people’s aspirations. Ever since the BJP came to power at the centre it worked for the welfare of the poor, took measures for the internal and external security of the country and made India’s presence on the world stage besides promoting Indian thoughts in the world, he said.
Referring to Prime Minister Modi emerging as the most popular Prime Minister in the world with 66 percent in a recent survey, Shiv Prakash said that people voted BJP to power for the second term by reposing faith on Prime Minister Modi. In politics, works can be done with complete honesty, the government can be run by winning elections, BJP has shown this by making it a reality on the ground. BJP considered development as basic mantra and worked without making any distinction of caste and religion, he said, adding that BJP played positive role with high standards even when it was in opposition.
Referring to conspiracies by a group of so-called intellectuals to help terrorists and Naxalites through post poll violence in Bengal, farmers movement and activities of tukde-tukde gang in the name of so-called secularism, he said that at a time entire world was appreciating the Government of India’s efforts for COVID prevention and vaccination, opposition in India was calling Prime Minister Modi as Corona super spreader.
In fact, the central government has foiled attempts of some forces who were indulging in anti-national activities under patronage of the opposition, he said and added that seeing no other option opposition parties were hatching conspiracies against central government. He alleged that opposition parties were conspiring to divide the country on the basis of religion, caste and class. Emphasizing on the need to make public aware of these acts of spreading lies and confusion on issues like CAA, NRC, Triple Talaq Act, Shiv Prakash said that the opposition was attacking Hindutva for appeasement and calling Modi and Modi government as demons. Shiv Prakash appealed to all BJP office bearers and workers from Chhattisgarh to work hard on their respective fronts to make strengthen the party organisation and pave way for party’s victory in upcoming elections.
Earlier, BJP state president Vishnudev Sai said that on the completion of two and a half years of the Congress government, it was decided by the state BJP to reach out to the people and make them aware of the failure of Bhupesh government besides taking note of their grievances.
Sai alleged that the Bhupesh government in Chhattisgarh was going to any extent to suppress the freedom of expression, the biggest guarantee of the Constitution. There is a constant attempt to quell dissent. Whether it is to sue BJP leaders in a fit of rage when the toolkit’s conspiracy was exposed, humiliate former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh by sending police to his home or attack BJP representatives and journalists through mafias backed by Congress, every case has proved that whenever Congress comes to power, democracy will be in danger and freedom guaranteed by Constitution will also be in danger, he said. Moving a political resolution in the second session the former Minister and MLA Ajay Chandrakar made a scathing attack on state government for its ‘faulty policies’ and questioned its intention. Criticising state government over paddy bonus, paddy procurement, paddy lifting and law and order Chandrakar charged the state government with depriving the people of the benefits of central schemes.
