Lyness Club distributes shawls and wheel chair

Bhilai, Dec 18: Considering the needs of the underprivileged people and protecting them from cold, social organization Lyness Club Bhilai is taking several initiatives. In this sequel, members of Lyness Club distributed shawls among the elderly people of underprivileged sections of the society.
The team members visited the Atal Awas Colony in Jawahar Nagar and distributed the shawls among the people. During this visit, they came to know that a disabled elderly person was in need of wheel chair. Club members immediately provided a wheel chair to this person.
Lyness Club President Seema Yadav said that in the winter season it is very important to protect the elderly people from cold. Therefore, the club had decided to distribute shawls among the elderly people.
She informed that they are planning to distribute warm clothes among the needy people in various localities. Joint Secretary Nandini Hivse informed that the needy people expressed their gratitude to the club for this initiative.
During this visit, the club members along with the locals paid heartfelt tributes to Chief of Defence Staff Late General Bipin Rawat and all those who died in the helicopter crash. Members of the club remembered the services of General Bipin Rawat towards the country.
On the occasion, treasurer Rita Kukhrania, senior members Tripta Kaur, Karuna Bansal, Ujjwala Singhal, Lata Gaikwad, Sushma Agrawal and all the office bearers and members were also present.
