While the District Administration has imposed a strict lockdown from September 22 to 28 to check the increase of the Covid 19 cases in Raipur, the District Collector Dr S Bharatidashan on Wednesday said that people need to keep maintaining social distancing as well as maintain discipline even after the lockdown ends after September 28. In a video message to the people, the District Collector has termed the lockdown to be just a temporary arrangement to check the spread of Corona Virus in the district. He said that the efforts of administration would be a waste if people ignore social distancing norms after the lockdown ends. He said that all essential steps are been taken to provide convenience to the people during lockdown period.
It is notable that due to strict lockdown, the administration has been facing ire of people who are coming out for emergency purposes as well as for other essential needs.
