Land lease distributed under Rajiv Gandhi Ashray Yojana

Bhilai, Aug 20: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel distributed land lease (patta) to eligible beneficiaries under Rajiv Gandhi Ashray Yojana during a virtual programme organized by Bhilai Municipal Corporation here at Kala Mandir on Friday.
Congratulating the beneficiaries, Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh government is working on the basic concerns of common public. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Aashray Yojana, a scheme for distribution of leases was introduced for the beneficiaries.
Chief Minister said that enhancement of civic amenities is a priority of the government. For the purpose, the infrastructure is being strengthened. New projects are being sanctioned in the civic body areas. According to the feedback received from the people, schemes are being implemented in the urban areas.
Now, the beneficiaries are getting new pattas and the renewed pattas are being distributed. It is a matter of great joy. Chief Minister congratulated the beneficiaries on the occasion. Chief Minister distributed new lease (patta) of 2,60,400 square feet land to 372 beneficiaries and renewed lease of 56,770 square feet to 306 beneficiaries.
Under this scheme, 9,98,000 square feet new leases have been distributed to 2329 citizens in the district and 6285 pattas have been renewed. Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure was also present in the programme. Bhilai Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rituraj Raghuvanshi proposed the vote of thanks.
