Kerala sees dip in Covid numbers

In Kerala, the third wave of Covid-19 shows a downward trend with the daily caseload dropping considerably.  Single-day cases have dipped as fast as these scaled the highest peak of 55 thousand 475 on the 25th of last month.

The State yesterday recorded 43 thousand 286 recoveries while fresh cases dipped to 18 thousand 420.  Test Positivity Rate also dropped to 22.3%.

The State’s active cases now stand at two lakh 32 thousand 980. An official release said, hospitalisation and ICU occupancy have also receded recently.
