Karnataka State Government has announced day-long mourning on the demise of Union Minister of State for Railways and Belagavi MP Suresh Angadi. In his condolence message, the Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa has portrayed Suresh Angadi as a gentleman politician who had a popular mandate in Belagavi.
He recalled his contribution in improving railway network in the state and speeding up pending projects. State Industries Minister Jagadish Shetter, Transport Minister Lakshman Savadi, Water Resources Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi are among those who are in Delhi to pay their homage to the departed leader.
