Jogi vows to bring about change in Chh’garh

Accorded warm welcome on return from Delhi with election symbol

Raipur, Jul 20: Former Chief Minister and Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (J) supremo Ajit Jogi on Friday said that the election symbol “Farmer Ploughing” would not only become the new Identity of Chhattisgarh but won also bring about change of wave in Chhattisgarh.
Jogi while addressing the party workers at his official residence on Friday afternoon announced that his election symbol would be solution to all the existing problems of people. He said that State GST and Excise Tax would be reduced by 50% in Chhattisgarh by his government on being voted to power after the forthcoming Legislative Assembly elections. He also announced that agriculture loan of marginalized farmers would be waived whereas the Farmers would get support price of Rs 2500 per quintal on the paddy produce in Chhattisgarh.
He further promised to bring about a policy to provide 90% reservation to unemployed youth of Chhattisgarh in non-government institutions apart from 100% reservations in government institutions on formation of his government. Advocating for liquor ban in Chhattisgarh, he said that he would make first decision on the above points on becoming the Chief Minister once again.
Earlier, the supremo of new political outfit was accorded warm welcome at Airport and people kept on joining him as he passed through the main roads of the city before reaching his official residence. Jogi supporters kept on raising voices in support to their leader throughout the route.
During an interaction, he said that he is back in Chhattisgarh politics with new life and new symbol which would bring about change here. All key members of Jogi led party including Dharmjeet Singh, Devvrat Singh, Vidhan Mishra, Dr Haridas Bhardwaj, MLAs Rajendra Rai, Siyaram Kaushik and Amit Jogi were present to welcome their leader on return to Chhattisgarh after a gap of 52 days.
