Issuance of PPO on the day of Retirement/Superannuation: Abhishek

Raipur, Sep 30: To provide hassle free services to its subscribers, the Regional P.F. Office, Raipur, Chhattisgarh has issued Pension Payment Order (PPO) to three employees on the day of their Superannuationon September 30 under the ‘Prayas Yojana’ started by EPFO. Sharing the new initiatives taken by the EPFO for the benefit of its stake holders and addressing the media person, officer in-charge/Regional P.F. Commissioner, Abhishek Kumar said that under the direction of In-Charge Commissioner of MP and Chhattisgarh, Ajay Mehra, the ‘Prayas Yojana’ has been started to provide the pension benefit to the member on the day of their Superannuation. He made an appeal to the employers to provide the details of the employees and their family members before their Retirement date, enabling EPFO office to complete all the formalities well in time. He further made an appeal to the employers to operate the Unified Portal and to approve the KYC and basic details of the employees, enabling them to avail online facilities. The initiatives taken by the Regional Office, Raipur were highly appreciated by the employee/employers. Mr Abhishek Kumar detailed many initiatives of EPFO including Prayas Yojana, e-nomination and Aatma Nirbar Bharat Yojana. On the occasion, two employees from M/s Balco and one employee from M/s Bhilai Steel Plant were handed over the Pension Payment Order (PPO).
