
IPL Cricket: In IPL Cricket, defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 10 wickets in Sharjah last night. Quinton de Kock and Ishan Kishan stitched an unbeaten partnership of 116 runs to help Mumbai Indians get across the line, after the side was handed a paltry target of 115 runs. Kishan smashed 68 off 37 deliveries, with De Kock accumulating 46 runs off the same number of balls.
Earlier after being asked to bat first, CSK were stunned by a fierce bowling performance by Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rahul Chahar. The MS Dhoni-led side was only able to score 114 runs in their allotted 20 overs courtesy of a gutsy knock by Sam Curran. Sam Curran was the highest run-scorer, with 52 runs off 47 deliveries. Trent Boult was the pick of the bowlers, accounting for four wickets while conceding 18 runs. He was declared Player of the Match. With this win, Mumbai Indians regained the top spot in the points table with 14 points from 10 games.
Today, there will be two matches. First match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals will begin at 3.30 pm in Abu Dhabi. The second match between Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad will begin at 7:30 pm in Dubai.
