Industry 4.0 training programme inaugurated

Bhilai, Nov 26: As a part of the series of Industry 4.0 online training programs in SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant being conducted at HRD, a training programme on Excel Skills for Data Analytics and Visualization Specialization, through Courseera was inaugurated on November 25, 2021 at MODEX Training Lab, HRDC. The program was graced by Asit Saha, CGM (I&A) as the chief guest. A Shankar, GM I/c (PSD), Deepak Jain, GM (ETL), and Ravishankar, GM (EDD) were present on the occasion. Saurabh Sinha, GM (HRD) welcomed the guests and participants and explained the process of the course. This is the second Indusrty 4.0 training program being conducted as part of BSP’s efforts towards capacity building of identified young professionals from different departments of the plant as BSP moves towards setting up a Centre for Digital Transformation. The first online program on “Data Science using R Specialization” with 10 participants began on September 02, 2021 and will complete by the end of the month. Participants have to attend these programmes for 3 hours daily from state-of-the-art PCs installed at MODEX Training Lab, HRDC so that they can attend to their job responsibilities during the rest of the day.
