India’s Covid vaccination coverage crosses 167.80 crore mark

India’s Covid vaccination coverage has crossed 167 crore 80 lakh mark. Union Health Ministry said, over 94 crore 48 lakh vaccine doses have been administered as first dose and more than 71 crore 97 lakh vaccine doses given as second doses. It said, more than 48 lakh vaccine doses were administered yesterday.

The Ministry said, more than one crore 34 lakh precautionary doses have been administered to the eligible beneficiaries so far. Over four crore 76 lakh children have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine to date.
