In a first, IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra posted as Commissioner Public Relations

Raipur, Oct 05: In a significant reshuffle, the state government on Tuesday posted senior Indian Police Services (IPS) officer Dipanshu Kabra as Commissioner Public Relations which had been a traditional post for the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers
so far.
According to the order issued from the General Administration Department (GAD) of Chhattisgarh government, the 1997 batch IPS Dipanshu Kabra presented posted as Additional Transport Commissioner would now be Commissioner Public Relations and would hold the additional responsibility of ex-officio Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Chhattisgarh Samvad and Additional Transport Commissioner.
IPS Kabra would take the responsibility of Commissioner Public Relations from IAS Officer Dr S Bharatidashan who would continue with the flagship scheme of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on rural development. It would be for the first time in Chhattisgarh that an IPS officer has been given the responsibility of Public Relations of State Government.
In a separate order issued here, the State Administrative Services (SAS) officer Soumil Ranjan Choubey has been posted as Director Public Relations and would continue to hold the additional responsibility of Additional Chief Executive Officer of Chhattisgarh Samvad and Chief Executive Officer of State Urban Development Authority (SUDA).
Meanwhile, the senior IAS Officer of 2003 batch Siddharth Komal Pardeshi who is presently posted at CM Secretariat, has been given additional charge of Secretary Public Relations.


Retired IAS Officer DD Singh posted at CM Secretariat

Raipur: Retired Indian Administrative Services (IAS) Officer DD Singh who has been given Contractual Appointment in General Administration Department by government would now be Secretary at CM Secretariat. He would continue to hold the responsibility of General Administration Department as well as Secretary Tribal Welfare. Meanwhile, the 2016 batch IAS Officer Tulika Prajapati has been posted as Deputy Secretary in Agriculture Department after being relieved from the post at District Panchayat.
