IIM Raipur all set to host the Orientation Program

Raipur, Jul 11: Indian Institute of Management, Raipur is all set to host the Orientation program for the 12th batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP)in Management and 10th batch of Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)from 12th July 2021 to 17th July 2021. This year the orientation will take place virtually. Chief Guest Ashish Vohra, Executive Director and CEO, Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Ltd, will be inaugurating the Orientation Program. The event will be marked by the presence of corporate dignitaries and industry stalwarts from organizations like Berger Paints, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Carlsberg India Pvt. Ltd.and many more.
The orientation will start with the auspicious lighting of the lamp & Saraswati Vandana. Prof. Sumeet Gupta, Chairman PGP, will deliver an inaugural welcome before the introduction to PGP and FPM programmes. This will be followed by a welcome address administered by Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Director, IIM Raipur. The incoming batch will get an opportunity to interact with experts from academia as well as corporate stalwarts.
The second day will witness a Panel Discussion on the topic “Critical Behavioural Competencies for Managers” by Mr. M.V. Ramana, CEO, Branded Markets, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories & Pradyumna Maheshwari, CFO, Carlsberg India Pvt. This will be followed by a session from the IIM Raipur Alumni – Ms. K. Revathi, Lead Recruiter and OD, GSK Pharma & Healthcare India; Harshit Kalra, Assistant Manager, American Express & Uma Bala Gompa, Senior Consultant, Infosys Consulting on the topic “Significance of Personal Brand Management”.
On 14th July, IIM Raipur will host Abhijit Roy, CEO and MD, Berger Paints; Sangeeta Lund, VP HR, Frost and Sullivan & Arvind Kumar, CEO, Dukes for a panel discussion on the topic “Importance of Growth Mindset to Conquer the Corporate World”. Vipul Oberoi, CMO, IIFL Finance; Ajoy Chawla, CEO, Jewellery Division, Titan & Dinesh Deo, CEO, Marsh McLennan Global Services will enlighten students with their views on “Critical Success Factors in the Present Business Scenario” on 15th July 2021.On 16th July 2021, the PGP batch of 2021-2023 will be walked through the case-based pedagogy at IIM Raipur through an interactive workshop by the faculty members. The last day will be concluded with “Learning Management through Games” by the Academic Committee and Class Representatives of the PGP 2020-2022 Batch.
IIM Raipur’s Orientation Program will aim to help the incoming students find answers and have a clear mindset. With all things in place for the new batch, IIM Raipur is once again all set to groom global leaders for the corporate world and high-quality researchers for the academic world
