Home Minister performs bhoomipujan for development works

Bhilai, June 03: Re-carpeting of Krishna Talkies Road, the main road of Municipal Corporation Risali area, will be done at a cost of Rs 1.49 crore. For this project, Durg Rural MLA and Home and Public Works Department Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu performed bhoomipujan. He performed bhoomipujan at three different spots for development works worth Rs 3.67 crore.
During the functions, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu discussed various issues with the local public representatives and said that due to the Corona pandemic, there has been some delay in the pace of development. On the basis of priority, works are being approved and launched.
During the programme, Sahu unveiled the bhoomipujan inscription for the tarring work to be done on Krishna Talkies Road by and construction of garden including drain, CC road, community building worth Rs 3 crores.
Durg District Rural Congress Committee President Tulsi Sahu, Commissioner Prakash Kumar Sarwe, State Congress Committee General Secretary Jitendra Sahu, Block Congress Committee President Mukund Bhau, Aldermen Sangeeta Singh, Vilas Borkar, Domar Deshmukh, Anup De, Premchand Sahu, Kirtilata Verma, Tarun Banjare, Fakir Ram, ex councillor Keshav Banchore, Chandrabhan Singh Thakur, Hemant Banjare, Zaheer Khan, Jitendra Sahu, Rajendra Rajak and others were present.
Home Minister inaugurated the Open Gym established in Talpuri B Block. Home Minister also inspected the exercise equipments installed in the open gym. It is noteworthy that the Home Minister has approved the funds for opening gyms in 30 different places of Risali corporation area.
Sahu is making efforts to accelerate the development preparing action plans for different areas as per the requirement. He has also provided two nos body refrigerators at Risali Muktidham which can be used by the bereaved family to preserve the dead body before the last rites.
During the bhoomipujan, he enquired about drinking water from the local public representatives and citizens. Risali Municipal Corporation Commissioner Prakash Kumar Sarwe, Nodal Officer Ramakant Sahu and Executive Engineer Sushil Kumar Babar were instructed to make proper arrangements to provide drinking water in the area where there is complaint of dirty water. Till exploring a permanent solution, he instructed to install water purification machines at three different places.
At Krishna Talkies Road Durga Manch; he performed bhoomipujan for construction of drain at road number 1 of Pragati Nagar Risali; Street Number 4 Drain Construction; Tar Road Construction from Azad Market Chowk to High School; Road Construction at Ward 25 Ashish Nagar West; culvert construction at Ward 26 Avadhpuri; Construction of community building in Ward 26 Avadhpuri Shyam Nagar; Tar Road in Ward 3 Ruabandha Shanichari Bazar to Yadav Chowk.
At HSCL Colony Ruabandha, bhoomipujan was performed for construction of drain in Ward 4 Ruabandha; drain and culvert construction in Ward 4 Ruabandha East; Drain Construction in Ward 5 HSCL Colony; Paver Block Laying in ward 5 HSCL Colony; Irrigation Department canal culvert in Ward 5 HSCL Colony; Paver Block in Ward 5 Ruabandha Sector; Yadav Samaj Bhawan in Ward 5 Ruabandha Sector.
At Talpuri B Block; bhoomipujan was performed for gate and fencing below water tank in Ward 1 Talpuri B Block; Toilet construction in Ward 1 Talpuri B block Juhi block; Toilet construction in Ward 1 Talpuri B Block Juhi Block A; Toilet construction in Ward 1 Talpuri B Block Main Gate; Sports Ground construction in Ward 1 Talpuri B Block; Drain Construction in Ward 2 Ruabandha North Azad Chowk; Drain near Ward 2 Ruabandha North Ghanshyam Chandel house; Community Building (Buddhist Society) in Ward 2 Ruabandha North; Paver Block in Ward 3 Ruabandha South Shanichari Bazar; CC Road at Ward 3 Ruabandha South; etc.
