Home Minister felicitates police team for outstanding work

Raipur, Jul 08: State Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu has felicitated the Superintendent of Police and Jawans of Bemetra district for prevention of crimes and use of new techniques for crime investigation. The Home Minister felicitated the Superintendent of Police Divyang Patel and his team by giving them shields and shawls in the presence of MLA Ashish Chhabra at his Raipur residence office on Wednesday.
Minister Sahu instructed the Superintendent of Police to control crimes, install CCTV cameras at the main square-intersections of the city and police control rooms at Bemetara and to provide 24-hour staff duty in three shifts. He also instructed people to follow the traffic rules and motivate people to apply masks essentially for the prevention of corona infection. On this occasion, Superintendent of Police Mr Patel, taking a brief knowledge of the incident, said that on June 3 last month, the Home Minister took the matter very seriously and instructed to take immediate action on the incident of kidnapping a 7-year-old girl by an unknown truck driver. Since this task was very difficult, the criminal was arrested on June 19 after checking 12 thousand trucks using the new technology GPS data analysis.
