HM performs groundbreaking rituals of projects worth Rs 3.29 crore

Bhilai, Jun 25: Home and Public Works Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu performed bhoomi pujan of various development works worth Rs 3.29 crore in Risali Municipal Corporation area on Friday. He also flagged off the newly purchased vehicles of the Municipal Corporation.
Minister Sahu discussed various issues with the citizens after performing the rituals of bhoomipujan. He said that for the first time in Risali Municipal Corporation area, development works are being conducted on a large scale. He said that the bhoomipujan program is only a formality due to Corona pandemic.
Our first priority is that human life should not be in any danger. He said that now the state government has decided to speed up development works with safety. Home Minister said that human life is precious. He urged all to follow the Covid appropriate behaviour and get vaccinated to prevent corona infection.
Home Minister Sahu performed bhoomipujan of 24 works worth Rs 95.18 lakh in Sheetla Mandir Tanki Maroda, 19 works worth Rs 99.81 lakh in Hanuman Mandir Station Maroda and 19 works worth Rs 1.34 crore in Dussehra Maidan Newai Bhatha.
Home Minister flagged off the new vehicles including the elevator, tipper dumper, cow catcher, suction machine and hearse van for the use of Risali Municipal Corporation. He congratulated the Risali Municipal Corporation fraternity on the availability of vehicles for civic services.
Home Minister said that in the next two months, a 30-bed hospital, college and English Medium School would be available for the citizens living in the Risali corporation area. He said that the services would be started after completing the site selection process and formalities.
During the meeting with the citizens, he also directed the Deputy Engineers in-charge to prepare an action plan on the basis of the grievances received about road, drain, electricity and water. Municipal Corporation Prakash Kumar Sarwe, local public representatives and a large number of citizens were present.
