Heat wave hits normal life in Rajasthan

Heat wave continues in Rajasthan for the last one week. Due to the scorching heat,  normal life is badly affected.

Yesterday Jalore recorded highest 47 degrees Celsius, Barmer 46 degrees 5, Churu, Kota and Bundi 46 degrees Celsius, Phalodi, Pilani and Bikaner 46 degrees Celsius.  Phalodi, Barmer, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jalore and Sirohi recorded night temperature above 30 degree Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a further increase of one to two degrees Celsius in the temperature for the next two days.  During this, the maximum temperature is likely to be 46 to 47 degree Celsius in the districts of Jodhpur, Bikaner division.   In the districts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota and Udaipur divisions, the maximum temperature is likely to record 45 to 46 degrees at some places.
