Health Minister releases 211 oxygen concentrators
Raipur, Sep 04: To provide health facilities to the people of 85 tribal development blocks of the state by ICICI Bank Foundation and for the treatment of people suffering from Covid 19, vehicles filled with oxygen concentrators and other medical equipment were dispatched by State Health and Panchayat Minister T.S. Singhdeo at his residence office here. ICICI Bank Foundation has provided 211 oxygen concentrators at a cost of about Rs 1.5 crore. Apart from this, ICUs are being provided in 3 community health centers in remote areas of the state including life saving equipment and ventilator facilties will be provided in collaboration with the bank. Singhdeo expressed his gratitude towards the bank for this cooperation and said that it is urgently needed in view of the possibility of third wave of corona epidemic. About 3 to 4 ICUs, Life saving equipment including beds at Pathalgaon Community Health Center in Jashpur district, Sitapur Community Health Center in Surguja and Vadrafnagar Community Health Center in Balrampur will be provided by ICICI bank foundation at a total cost of Rs 1 crore.
It is worth mentioning that to help the people suffering and affected by corona infection in the state, various social service organizations, donors and business organizations are providing all possible help in association with administration. In this connection, ICICI Bank officials called on the Health Minister, T.S. Singhdeo and provided life-saving medical equipment for the treatment of patients in the tribal areas and remote areas of the state. This amount is being provided from the CSR head of the bank. On this occasion ICICI Bank senior officials were present.
