Health coordinators to boycott COVID 19 vaccination drive

Awari, Sep 09: As per the directives of the State Government, vaccination for COVID 19 is going on in full swing, but vaccination coordinators of the region, have decided to boycott the drive, alleging disparity by the State Government in covering benefits under financial guidelines to run the COVID 19 vaccination campaign smoothly, which the union is alleging has not been followed even after a lapse of eight months.
According to the financial guidelines of the state government, the employees are to be given Rs 300 in training, TA/DA on outsourcing human resources, Rs 500 per session, verifier 500 per session, Rs 200 per session for mobiles and Rs 500 per session for food. But till today, due to the apathy of the departmental officers, the employees are cutting their stomachs and completing the departmental work. In this era of global pandemic, nothing has been achieved except neglect of Corona Warriors and health workers, the employees alleged. In a few days, a massive vaccination campaign is to be held, for which a memorandum has been submitted at the block level for the boycott. The above information was given by former Provincial President Mukesh Kumar Sahoo. Present during the memorandum submission were Lata Chandrawanshi, Tejeswar Sahoo, Chandrashekar Sahoo and others.
