Habitual offenders held for loot

Bhilai, Apr 23:
Police have arrested two habitual offenders on charges of loot. The victim Ayush Soni of Balaji Nagar Khursipar complained that on the intervening night of April 23, two ruffians reached his house and knocked the door. When Ayush opened the door, they started threatening him and looted Rs 1500 cash and a mobile phone on the tip of knife. On receiving the complaint, Police team swung into action and the looter were trapped within few hours. The accused are identified as Akash Sharma (25) son of Rajesh Sharma a resident of KLC, Khursipar and Majid Khan (21) son of Abdul Hadi a resident of Machli Market, Khursipar. Police have recovered the looted cash and mobile phone from them. The accused have been booked under the provisions mentioned in sections 392, 34 of IPC and Sections 25, 27 of Arms Act.
