BJP MLA raises demand for probe into alleged irregularities in government procurement during the corona crisis

Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) on Friday termed the one and a half year rule of Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress government in Chhattisgarh to be a government without any policy or any rule.
Addressing a press conference at party office situated at Ekatma Parishar, the BJP MLA from Raipur South Brijmohan Agrawal said that government directives are being issued with all whims and fancies in Congress regime. Replying to a question, the former Cabinet Minister said that government has failed in every front as youth are struggling for employment whereas the farmers too are agitated with the failure of state government. People are unhappy with the functioning of the state government, he claimed.
Alleging irregularities in government procurement during the corona pandemic, he said that government should inform how the mask and sanitizers procured have been used during the crisis. He said that government should probe the alleged irregularities in the procurement during corona crisis. He further levelled a series of allegations during the press conference being organized to highlight the atrocities of Congress during the emergency on the occasion of 34th anniversary of infamous emergency imposed in the country.
