Govt forms Board for recruitment of Class III, IV employees

Raipur, Sep 08: In the four-hour long cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of CM Bhupesh Baghel many important decisions were taken. It is worthwhile to mention here that in the Cabinet held about one & half month’s time, the declarations made earlier were granted approval.
In today’s cabinet meeting one of the among many important decision by Cabinet taken include filling up of vacant posts of Class 3 and 4 category posts of district-level in different departments of the state government by local youths and for this Special Junior Employees’ Selection Board will be formed in Bastar, Surguja and Bilaspur. In Bilaspur board, there is one district included viz. Korba and decision was taken to include ‘Gourela-Pendra- Marwahi’ in this Board’s jurisdiction.
At the same time the Cabinet also approved revised bus fare, ‘Mahatari Dular Yojana’ and other declarations made by CM Bhupesh Baghel.
Prominent among the decisions taken in today’s cabinet includes collection of data related to reservation and that it will be produced in the Court. On occasion of ‘Teeja-Pola’, CM had made declaration of loan waiver to Women Self-Help Groups (WSHGs) and it was approved by the Cabinet, so that new system of loan to WSHGs can be prepared.
The Cabinet also approved establishing makka-based Ethanol Plant in place of ‘Makka’ processing plant and it also took a decision to provide loan to farmers taking up production of ‘lac’.
About Edmatta, Bijapur incident the state government has ordered for judicial probe and it was ion today’s cabinet that the probe report was submitted. Though as per the rule, first this report will be tabled in the Vidhan Sabha and therefore information about it was not made public.
Among other decisions taken by Cabinet is for promotion of processing of forest produce and to promote medicinal plants and herbs based industries in the state. A decision was taken to supply 70% of the raw materials for industries established under the state’s new Industrial Policy 2019-24 from Chhattisgarh Rajya Laghu Vanopaj Sangh (CRLVS).
Similarly decision was taken to implement Millet Mission for ‘Kodo’, ‘Kutaki’, ‘Ragi’ crops under Mission Mode in Chhattisgarh from FY 2022-23. The production of millet will be done by ‘Van-Dhan Samitis’ working under Chhattisgarh Laghu Vanopaj Sahakari Sangh (CLVSS). The millet produced will be used for mid-day meal, PDS, for supplementary diet in Anganbadis. Under Millet Mission for next five years, arrangement of Rs 170.30 cr will be done under District Mineral Fund and convergence of other government Schemes.
All the crops of Khariff will be included under Rajiv Gandhi Kissan Nyay Yojana (RGKNY) form Khariff year 2021-22. Under this in the Khariff season, the farmers of Agriculture and Horticulture will be paid grants at the rate of Rs 9000 per acre. Along with this from 2020-21, the farm land in which the farmers has sold paddy on MSP and takes up aromatic paddy, fortified paddy or other grains, oilseeds, pulse, horticulture crops or plantation, then he will be paid Rs 10000 per acre per year.
The Cabinet under ‘Chhattisgarh Mahatari Dular Yojana-2021’ for fixation of maximum expenditure in private schools by the government, the cabinet granted approval of bearing the educational expenditure in residential ‘Navodaya’ and ‘Eklavya’ Schools run by the central government or actual expenditure in Private Schools, whichever is lower.
In the newly formed district of ‘Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi’ in undivided Bilaspur district and from divided Bilaspur district, the resevation percentage and rules for SCs, STs and OBCs was also approved by the Cabinet.
The Cabinet also took a decision to provide domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh to students of parents who are studying in educational institutes outside Chhattisgarh or those who have already completed education outside Chhattisgarh.
Under the Chhattisgarh Culture Council (CCC), for post of President and 8 members in the Sahitya Academy, there will be total of 9 members. Along with this the cabinet also approved revised honorarium and allowances to Sahitya Akadami, Kala Akadami, Adivasi and Lok Kala Akadami, Chahttisgarh Film Vikas Nigam, and Chhattisgarh Rajbhasha Aayog and Chhattisgarh Sindhi Akadami.
In the meeting it was decided to hold National Tribal Dance Mahotsav every year from Oct 28 to Nov 1 upto the Chahttisgarh Rajyotsav. On first three days i:e Oct 28, 29 and 30, the tribal folk dance teams will perform and on Oct 31 on occasion of birth anniversary of former PM and Bharat Ratna Late Indira Gandhi, an exhibition and documentary will be presented and on Nov. 1 programmes on Chhattisgarh foundation day will be organised.
The Cabinet also granted approval to Chhattisgarh Film Policy -2021. The main objective of this film policy will be make Chhattisgarh state favourable for film shooting; to develop Chhattisgarh as central hub for shooting of Chhattisgarhi films; to develop opportunities for employment to local talent and to motivate investors to invest in film production in state and providing national and international identity to state’s natural and cultural sites through films. In the meeting it was decided to provide ‘Protsahan Anudan’ to film made in Chhattisgarh and winning national awards.
