Govt committed for urban infrastructure and best civic amenities: Dr Shiv Dahariya

The state government is committed towards providing better urban infrastructure and best civic amenities. Rapid development works are being done in all the urban bodies and its effect is visible now. The condition of urban infrastructure has strengthened rapidly, stated Urban Administration Minister Dr Shiv Dahariya while addressing the Swami Atmanand Jayanti celebrations at Patan on Wednesday. He performed bhoomipujan and inaugurated projects worth Rs 50.25 crore in Patan Nagar Panchayat. He added that an adequate amount is being spent by the urban administration to develop drinking water, roads, gardens etc for urban infrastructure. The pipeline network has been expanded to provide drinking water facilities to all in urban areas. Economic opportunities are being increased by building commercial complexes. Gardens, sports stadiums etc are also being built so that the urban population can get more opportunities for recreation and developing talent in the field of sports. He further said that small businessmen have been provided a platform through the Pauni Pasari scheme. Health facilities are being provided to all in the slum areas through mobile medical vans. Work is also being done to spread English education through Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools, which has yielded good results. Minister Dr Shiv Dahriya said that the Congress Government waived the electricity bill, waived irrigation tax of farmers and gave adequate paddy price to the farmers. Work will also be done for the development of the only temple complex of Mata Kaushalya. The sites of Ram Vanpath Gaman are also being developed. He said that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is working towards making the dreams of the ancestors come true. Beneficiary oriented material was also distributed on this occasion. Chief Minister’s son Chaitanya Baghel was also present on the occasion. Former MLA Pradeep Choubey, Chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Rajendra Tiwari, Chairman of District Co-operative Bank Jawahar Verma, Chairman of District Mandi Board Ashwani Sahu, President of Nagar Panchayat Bhupendra Kashyap, Janpad President Rambai Sinha, Khadi and Village Industries Board member Hemant Dewangan and other public representatives were present. Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure and other officers of the district administration were present on the occasion.
Bhoomipujan was performed for various construction works under Nagar Panchayat Patan area including commercial shop construction, additional room in girls school and hall construction work on first floor, commercial premises by breaking Udayagar building Co-community building, Patan primary school building demolition work and construction of new building; demolition of community building near Devangan Samaj Bhawan and reconstruction work, Hall in first floor of Prajapati Brahmakumari Bhawan and Toilet construction work, commercial complex construction work by demolishing the old community building near Atmanand Chowk, public building, shed and kitchen construction work in Jagannath temple complex, Akhara school building demolition and construction of new one, Dome construction in Chandi temple complex, commercial complex construction work in bus stand, Nagar Panchayat office building, etc
The projects inaugurated on the occasion included Chhattisgarh Manwa Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj community building, Yadav Samaj community building, Press club, Krishak house, Vipra building upgradation work, Utkal building, Community building near Gaura Chaura, Machua Samaj building and Aahta construction, Jyoti Kalash room near Sheetla temple, Patel samaj community building, Akhara School’s Auditorium cum Shed, Repair and Upgradation in Girls Hostel in CSC College, Ravana idol in Akhara Bhata, Shed construction in SLRM Center, Model Wall Beautification Work, Khubchand Baghel Statue, Chhattisgarh Mahtari Chowk Beautification, Muktidham Construction and Beautification Work, Khorpa Garden Beautification Work, Kahar Bhoi Samaj Building and Boundary Wall Construction, Community Building Construction in Chandi Mandir Ward No. 7, etc.
