Governor pay courtesy call to PM

Raipur, Feb 08: Governor Anusuiya Uikey paid courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. On this occasion she handed over a photo of Lord Shri Ganesha to PM Modi. She also handed over a copy of the book ‘Coronakal mein Rajyapal ki Bhoomika’ based upon her works carried out during corona pandemic in the state. She also held talks with PM on various state related issues. PM Modi said to her that information about GoI’s schemes for SC, ST and needy people should be passed onto them and ensure that they are benefitted.
Governor informed PM that entire country and world got badly affected due to corona pandemic and almost all the areas were badly affected. The good news in-between was that the spread of this virus is under control and under PM’s leadership the scientists of the country have developed effective vaccine. Apart from this vaccination in entire country has started. Governor Uikey said that during Corona pandemic, many farsighted decisions were taken by him and the morale of corona warriors was boosted from time to time and due to which entire country fought against this virus remaining united.
Governor informed PM that she made appeal as per his instructions and gave instructions to the officers and made efforts to create awareness among people through newspapers, electronic media and social media. Governor on this occasion wished for good health and longevity of PM Modi.
