Governor calls upon to unite to improve the standard of higher education

Raipur, Sep 03: India is a country of youth, the population of youth is continuously increasing here. It is believed that by 2025 about two-thirds of Indians will be involved in it. Youth should contribute maximum in the progress of the country, for this education has to be made of high quality. With this, the youth will get good education and will be able to make a strong place in this competitive era and will be able to contribute more and more in nation building, said Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey. She was virtually addressing the inaugural function of ICCRITO-2021 International Conference organized by Amity Institute of Information Technology, Uttar Pradesh, Noida. She called for united and meaningful efforts to improve higher education. The Governor said that in the New Education Policy-2020 of the Government of India, special emphasis has been laid on providing inclusive education to all sections, creating a Gender Inclusion Fund. It has been said in the education policy to create a National Research Foundation, which will encourage research in the field of science and technology. She said that the private university has been instructed by her to conduct the course under the National Policy on Education and implement it soon. There are more than 1 lakh 75 thousand students and more than 02 lakh ex-students, who are working successfully in their respective fields today. The good work done by Amity University for online teaching during COVID-19 is commendable.
The Governor said that the National Digital Library, Swayam, NIRF, by the Government of India. and RUSA (National Higher Education Campaign) etc. have been started, so that the quality of higher education can be improved further. She said that the Government of India has recently launched several teaching modules to tackle the digital divide and focus on online education and move forward. Through this, special courses like Artificial Intelligence will be taught to the students.
Diksha portal etc. have been started to enhance the skills of teachers. Apart from this other learning platforms are also being used. Governor virtual released the souvenir to be published on the occasion. A memento was presented to the Governor by the University. On this occasion Dr. Ashok Chauhan, Dr. Atul Chauhan, Professor Ajay Rana, Vice Chancellors of various universities, educationists and students were present.
