GM announces cash award for cleanliness and upkeep

GM SECR Gajanan Mallya conducted inspection of Umaria station on May 25 and that of Bilaspur Station on May 26. During inspection of Bilaspur Railway Station, he inspected Circulating Area, Foot- over-bridge (FoB), Bridge, platform, ‘Janaahar’, ‘Cumsum’, waiting hall, retiring room, dormitory, ‘Bal Sahayata Kendra’, and other parts of the railway station.
During this he also took stock of passengers amenities and cleanliness at the station and closely monitored the same. GM SECR was impressed about the management of the station, massiveness and cleanliness at the station and openly hailed the working done. To appreciate the same, he made declaration of cash prize of Rs 40000.
During inspection of Umaria station, Mallya closely inspected all the passenger amenities; entire platform area; passenger waiting room; toilet, panel room; foot-over-bridge (FoB), cleanliness at the station and others.
During this GM SECR carried out plantation in Children’s Park. During the inspection, GM SECR hailed the cleanliness at Umaria station and amenities to the passengers and made declaration of Rs 20000 on ‘Swachchata’.
It is notable that in 64th Railway Week programme, Bilaspur station recieved the Best Maintained Station shield. On this achievement to Bilaspur Station, DGM Bilaspur division R Rajagopal, Addl.
DRM Saurabh Bandhopadhyay extended greetings to all the employees and officers of Bilaspur division. Dr. Commercial Manager (Coordination) Pulkit Singhal also extended greetings to all the officers and employees for this achievement.
