Full scale joint disaster management exercise

Sambalpur, Nov 26:
East Coast Railway, Sambalpur Division organized a  Full scale Joint Disaster Management  exercise  at Rengali Station on 26th November-2021. In the exercise National Disaster Response Force, Munduli, Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force, Jharsuguda, Local Administration, State Fire service, State health service,  Railway Scouts & Guide,  Local NGOs and all departments of Railway were participated. The exercise was conducted using modern equipments like cutting of Rail coach body, firefighting  and quick medical evacuation . Divisional Railway Manager, Sambalpur, Pradeep Kumar  visited the site and interacted with all  the participants. Kumar  said “The exercise  will help Railways and all participating agencies to tackle any unforeseen  situation in a coordinated  manner thus minimizing the hardship to the victims and will also help in minimizing the response time for all the agencies”. Santosh Kumar Dewangan Sr. Divisional Safety Officer (Incharge) thanked all the participating agencies and volunteers for their wholehearted   participation in the Exercise. day Constitution Day observed at ECoR Bhubaneswar, Nov 26: The Constitution Day was observed at East Coast Railway headquarters, Rail Sadan today. All Principal HoDs, Senior Officials, Staff led by Additional General Manager Sudhir Kumar, read out the Preamble of the Indian Constitution through the live programme of President of India who led the celebrations all over the country. Apart from this, the Constitution Day was also celebrated at all the three Railway Divisions of ECoR, viz., Khurda Road, Waltair & Sambalpur. This Day was also celebrated at different Railway Stations over ECoR jurisdiction. Railwaymen and officials in remote locations also watched the live streaming and readout preamble of the Indian Constitution through weblinks. Live streaming was also done at various Railway Stations for public viewing of the Constitution Day Celebrations.
