Four youths arrested with 17 kg ganja

Bhanupratappur, Feb 14: On Saturday night four smugglers carrying Ganja to Chandrapur Maharashtra  from Odisha were caught by the police.
It happened that 4 youths were going to Maharashtra from Orissa in a car and were following the route through Google map, according to them, they had to go to Maharashtra via Narayanpur Antagarh Kewati Pakhanjur, but after reaching Antagarh, they found an alternative way in Google, the road through Koilybeda Paratapur Pakhanjur and they proceeded on the same path.
District Police along with BSF 157th Battalion personnel stopped the Maruti Desire car coming from Katagaon in which 4 youths  were travelling at the checkpoint in Mahla Kemp of Paratapur police station area and they were caught with all the ganja.
According to SDOP Pakhanjur Myank Tiwari, they stopped the car and seized a 17 kg Ganja Rs 80 thousand, car number MH 12 LD 3324 worth Rs 3 lakh and 3 mobile from Chandrapur, Maharashtra, Pranav Dakua father Nirmal, Ashutosh Gedam father Yashwant, Roshan Khobragade father Ishwar and Sujit Ramteke father Dharmendra.  The seized ganja was being brought from Umarkot in Odisha. Among the arrested youths, their leader Pranab Dakua is being told that his wife is pregnant.
A car worth 3 lakh ganja 80 thousand and 3 mobiles has been seized from smugglers and a case has been registered under NDPS.
