Raipur: Police have started taking strict action against chit-fund companies on the instruction of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. According to information available the Khairagarh Police have arrested Sarvodaya Multi-trade Company Limited director Rajkumar Sahu and three others namely Kamlesh Kumar Kothle, Satyapal Verma and Chhamman Sahu.
Action has been taken against them on written complaint lodged by one Khilawan Chandrakar. According to the complainant these chit-fund company directors collected total amount of Rs 25 lakh for investing in Sarvodyaya Multi-trade company limited micro investment company. This amount included Rs 7 lakh 30 thousand of the complainant and Rs 18 lakh of other people.
According to complainant chit-fund company directors collected this much of amount by talking about monthly scheme, fixed deposit scheme and MIF scheme. During investigation police came to know that company CMD Tarun Sahu was absconding. Arrested chit-fund company directors said that all documents pertaining to the company were under possession of Tarun Sahu.
This company was being run at residence of one of the accused Rajkumar Sahu in Amlipara and also in Akash Ganga Panchshil Parisar Second Floor Supela Bhilai. Information pertaining to properties of all the accused is now being collected. Three directors of chit fund company ‘Sarvodaya Multitrade Company Limited Micro Investment namely Tarun Sahu, Ranjit Sonkar (resident of Balaghat district) and Rajendra Swasi (resident of Birsamunda Chowk Ranchi) have to be arrested in this connection. Rajnandgaon Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla said that intensive search was being carried out to arrest these three directors.
