Formation of new Tehsils will improve public facilities: Guru Rudra Kumar

Bhilai, Jul 19: With the constitution of new tehsils in the district, facilities for revenue related works will improve for the people. People will have to travel shorter distance to reach the tehsil headquarters. Along with this, the work pressure on the revenue department will also reduce and the officers will get more time to dispose of the cases, said PHE Minister Guru Rudra Kumar while addressing the bhoomipujan function of the new Tehsil Office in Old Bhilai.
Minister Guru Rudra Kumar said that it is the intention of the Government of Chhattisgarh that citizens need not to spend more time for essential works as well as they should not have to travel longer distances to reach the government offices. Revenue related services are very important and with the improvement of facilities, a large number of citizens can be benefitted. Minister said that every possible work is being done for the development of the area including the subjects related to infrastructure, pure drinking water, etc. Development works are being done according to the feedback received by the citizens. With the increasing economic strength of rural areas, cities are also becoming financially strong and the effect of the government’s decision is visible. Cabinet Minister said that Covid is a big challenge before the society and vaccination is very important to tackle the crisis. Minister informed that he had taken the vaccine shot and appeal to all the people to get inoculated. He added that a third wave of corona is being anticipated by the experts. To avoid the third wave, people must act according to the guidelines issued by the government. After performing the bhoomipujan of Tehsil office of Bhilai-3, Guru Rudra Kumar said that the state government is working to increasing the civic amenities at a fast pace. The state government is tackling the challenges with determination. He hoped that all the citizens will continue doing better works continuously while remaining cautious against the pandemic. It is noteworthy that the new tehsil office of Bhilai-3 is being constructed by the Housing Board with an expenditure of Rs 71 lakh. It is being built in 5000 square feet plot. Bhilai Charoda Municipal Corporation Speaker Vijay Jain and prominent public representatives, Municipal Commissioner Kirtiman Rathore and SDM Brijesh Kshatri and other officers were present.
