Forest Minister Akbar performed Bhoomipujan of new Panchayat building

Magarwada, a big forestry village of tribal and Baiga dominated Bodla development block of Kabirdham district, will soon get a new Panchayat building. Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar performed bhoomi pujan of new gram panchayat building of Magarwada Panchayat. The panchayat building here was dilapidated. The demand for the construction of a new Panchayat Bhawan was being made by the villagers for a long time. On this occasion, Minister Akbar also inspected the net safe horticulture sapling planted by farmer Kanhaiya Singh Pandaram. Appreciating the hard work of Mr. Kanhaiya, he said that many schemes are being run by the Agriculture Department of the State Government to encourage farmers to take cash crops and promote horticulture. Special tests and guidance are also being given by the agriculture and horticulture officers by contacting the farmers. He also distributed Kodo seed to the farmers after inspecting the Net Safe Horticulture. On this occasion, Bodla, Janpad Panchayat, President, Prabhati Markam and Neelkanth Chandravanshi, Kalim Khan, Gram Panchayat Sarpanch, Anand Kumar, Municipal, Vice President, Jameel Khan, Coroporator Pramod Lunia and villagers were present.
