
Raipur: Five IPS officers from Chhattisgarh will go to Singapore for a weeklong induction course training course. Prior to the foreign training, these officers will undergo a month-long training session at Hyderabad Police Academy where they will participate in various workshops regarding various aspects of internal security.
On the other hand two SPs, who have already been for training, will be returning back to state and rejoining their duties on August 10. According to information, Centre has granted permission for the training of five IPS officers of 1997 and 1998 batch. They are Commandant 9th battalion of CAF Shashi Mohan Singh, STF Commandant Rajesh Kukreja, Raigarh SP Rajesh Agrawal, Commandant 7th battalion of CAF Vijay Agrawal and Commandant 4th battalion of CAF Ram Krishna Sahu.
While Shashi Mohan Singh and Rajesh Kukreja are officers 1997 batch of Chhattisgarh Police Service promoted as IPS, Rajesh Agrawal, Vijay Agrawal and Ram Krishna Sahu are officers 1998 batch of Chhattisgarh Police Service promoted as IPS. It is following their promotion as IPS officers that are being sent for induction training which will span around one and half month including the week-long training at Singapore in the final phase. On the other hand, Kanker SP KL Dhruv and Rajnandgaon SP Kamal Lochan Kashyap will be returning back from training on August 10 and resuming their duties in respective districts.
