Fire breaks out in Foam Godown, no casualty

Raipur, May 24: Massive fire broke out in Foam Godown in Mowa area of capital city here on Monday and the fire-fighting vehicles rushed to the spot and tried to gain control over it. Few employees were present in the godown and when they got smell of foam burning, they immediately went out of the godown and no casualty took place. This incident created sensation in nearby areas of this godown. The reason behind the fire breaking out in this godown could not be known.
The fire broke out in the Foam godown near Aastha Heights, opposite Arambh School in Mowa at around 6:15 pm. The people nearby immediately informed it to the fire-brigade and police. Since it was Monday and there was lot of traffic on the road, the fire-brigade vehicle reached about 45 minutes late. By this time the fire had assumed proportions and since it was foam godown it burnt like an inferno in no time.
The police along with Fire-brigade team were present in the site and they immediately got the nearby areas vacated from safety point of view. The details of amount of loss due to fire and the reason behind fire could not be known till the writing of these lines.
