FIR against Baba Ramdev in Raipur for his remarks on Allopathy

Raipur, Jun 17: Raipur Police have registered FIR against yoga guru Baba Ramdev for his remarks over Allopathy medicine, doctors and corona vaccine. The police have accused Baba Ramdev of endangering the life of others, disturbing public peace and disobeying administrative orders by making irresponsible statements during the pandemic. Police have also considered his statements as misleading. According to Police officials the police can wait for Baba’s statement in this case and present a challan in the court besides issuing a warrant for his arrest.
The FIR has been registered against Ramdev at Civil Lines Police Station last night on the basis of complaint lodged by Indian Medical Association Board Chairman Dr Rakesh Gupta. According FIR the Indian Medical Association and Hospital Board had lodged a complaint against Baba Ramdev on May 26 alleging that Baba Ramdev was spreading misinformation about Corona medicines being used on the advice of entire medical community, the Central Government and the Indian Council of Medical Research.
At a time when doctors and paramedical staff across the country are fighting the war against Corona with support of the government, Baba Ramdev is being seen in videos, making delusional statements about the Epidemic Act and medicines. The doctors had demanded to register offence against Baba Ramdev. The doctors had also given links of two videos to the police along with their complaint. The videos contained recent statements of Baba Ramdev in which he was seen making a mockery of Allopathy doctors and modern medical science. Baba was also seen raising questions on the vaccination campaign.
