Feeling on harmony, brotherhood always prevailed in state’s culture: CM

Raipur, Feb 15: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel took part in the ‘Acharaya Mahashraman Maryada Mahotsav’ being organised at Jainam Manas Bhavan here on Monday morning. He offered respect and met founder of non-violence ‘yatra’ of Mahotsav- Acharya Shri Mahashramanji and sought his blessings for peace, prosperity and happiness for all in the state and country.
CM on this occasion said that it is big honour for all that Acharya Shri Mahashramanji has visited the soil of Chhattisgarh. Welcoming Acharya Shri Mahashramanji and other ‘Sadhus’ and ‘Sadhavis’ accompanying him in the ‘Ahinsa Yatra’ on part of people of Chhattisgarh CM Baghel said that Acharyaji during this journey is passing on the message of harmony, morality and de-addiction. Acharya has so far covered countries like Nepal, Bhutan and 19 states of India and entered the soil of Chhattisgarh. Acharyaji in his life so far has travelled 50000 kms distance on foot.
Baghel speaking further said that Chhattisgarh has also being blessed and nurtured with the learnings and preaching of Mahatmas like ‘Acharya Shri Mahashramanji’. As per Chhattisgarh’s culture, the sentiments of harmony, brotherhood and unity always remain present. The society here is very peaceful and always in favour of non-violence. CM Baghel said that as per Acharya’s message and preching, they always continue to warn to adopt those better qualities in the fast changing scenarios and circumstances and with more of firmness. CM Baghel said that Chhattisgarh is known as island of peace, but for past few years the Naxal incidents have taken place. But Acharyaji by entering Chhattisgarh from Naxal infested area of Bastar in Chhattisgarh has passed on the message of peace and harmony in the region, CM added. These messages and personality of Acharyaji will have positive effects on the lives of people and hopefully they would return to path of peace and happiness, CM said.
Acharya Shri Mahashramanji on this occasion said that this is his 7th year of ‘Ahinsa Yatra’ and added that he favours that there should always be peacefulness in Chhattisgarh and apart from physical development of state, there should be spiritual and moral development of people as well. He emphasised on need for continuing education on morality and spiritualism in educational institutions of the state, so that apart from physical development of students, there is intellectual, sentimental and spiritual development of children as well. The quality of honesty should always remain on the top and such children would prove to be better citizens of the country in the near future.
On this occasion Parliamentary Secretary Rekhchand Jain, MLA Satyanarayan Sharma, President CG State Rural and OBC Development Authority and MLA Dongargaon Daleshwar Sahu, Chairman CHB Kuldeep Juneja, Mayor Raipur Aijaz Dhebar, President Mahashraman Maryada Mahostsav Vyavastha Samiti Mahendra Kumar Dhariwal and devotees in large number were present.
