Famous Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh to start today in Varanasi

The famous Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh in Varanasi will start today evening. The galaxy of musicians and vocalists will perform in the premises of famous Sankat Mochan temple for the next six evenings.AIR correspondent reports that the 99th Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh will be organised in offline mode this time which was not possible during last 2 years due to covid pandemic. Mahant of the temple professor Vishambhar Nath Mishra told AIR that a galaxy of artists will perform in the Samaroh which includes 15 Padma awardees.

Around 15 lakh music lovers watched the Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh last year when it was organised in digital mode and the organisers have decided to live stream the sangeet Samaroh this time also.
