Facilities to improve at Khursipar and Bapu Nagar UPHCs

Bhilai, Sep 12: The citizens will get better facilities at the Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHCs) of Khursipar and Bapu Nagar in the coming days. With the initiative of Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Yadav, the renovation and repair works have been launched at these centres.
Various necessary facilities will be increased here. At a cost of about Rs 25 lakhs, the work of renovating the entire building has commenced. People were facing problems due to lack of facilities at these centres.
Considering the situation, MLA Devendra Yadav took the initiative and work has been started by getting approval to increase many necessary facilities in these two health centers. The work is being funded
from DMF.
It needs to be mentioned here that there are two UPHCs in Khursipar and Bapu Nagar area. There has been a lack of doctors and staff as well as the necessary basic facilities at these centres due to which the local patients faced a lot of problems.
For improving the services, an amount of Rs 25 lakhs has been approved. Work has also been started to increase the necessary health facilities by renovating Bapu Nagar Health Center at a cost of Rs 10 lakh and Khursipar Health Center at a cost of Rs 15 lakh.
Separate toilets for women and men will be constructed for the staff and patients in Khursipar Health Center. Apart from this, a separate physiotherapy room will be constructed here. Paver blocks are being installed in the premises to maintain cleanliness and beauty. A garden will also be developed here. Changing room for hospital staff and separate waiting room for patients will be made.
MLA Devendra Yadav informed that facilities will also increase in Bapu Nagar Health Center. A labour room will be built here so that deliveries can be done in this hospital also in case of emergency. Necessary arrangements will be made here. At present this facility is not available in the hospital. Apart from this, toilets will also be built here and other necessary work will be done in the hospital.
