Raipur: Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) of Dharshiwa, Raipur Rural, Raipur West, Raipur North, Raipur South, Abhanpur and Aarang Legislative Assembly falling under the Raipur Lok Sabha segment was sealed at Strong Room established at Sejbaharbased Government Engineering College (GEC) campus here on Wednesday.
General Observers Keshav Kumar Pathak and Chandrasekhar from ECI as well as Police Observer Ranjit Mishra, District Returning Officer Dr Basavraju S and representatives of various political parties were also presented at the venue during the process carried out here on Wednesday after polling was held on April 23 for the Raipur Lok Sabha segment.
Central Security Force has taken control of security of the entire building including the Strong Room whereas CCTV too have been installed in the entire campus to keep on having regular monitoring. Strong Room would now be opened on May 23 when the counting of votes would take place. District Returning Officers also briefed the representatives of political parties about the voting per cent age registered in all the Legislative Assembly segments.
