
Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has said that the state government is making every effort to protect the children of Chhattisgarh from congenital heart disease. He said that for this, the cooperation of Sri Satya Sai Health and Education Trust and New Satpuri Suryanai Sanjivani Hospital will also be taken. Making Chhattisgarh a congenital heart free state will be our goal. He said that a four year work plan will be prepared for identification of heart disease and free treatment in children.
The Chief Minister was addressing the people in the program organized at the Auditorium of Sri Satya Sai Hospital Campus (Saubhayam), New Raipur this evening. Dr. Singh inaugurated the Center for better care of the children suffering from heart diseases and the training of paramedical staff and doctors. This center has been named ‘Chiray Chhattisgarh Center of Excellence in Pediatric Cardiac Care and Training’. Two state-of-the-art operation theaters and an intensive care unit (ICU) and a stepdad ICU room have also been built at the center. Under Chirayu Yojana, children and children of Chhattisgarh who are suffering from congenital heart disease in this operation theater will also get free operation of heart disease. The chief minister said that special training will be given to the paramedical staff of the Health Department for their health check-up across the state to protect children from heart disease.
The Chief Minister on this occasion, three children recovering after surgery at Sri Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, Dimple Pacara of Jashpur district, one year and half year of Gram Kota of Tilda Vikas Khand in Raipur district, two years of land Yadav and Karchi (Pakistan) Children bless Rahul Chiliangi for a healthy and happy life. On this occasion, he released the book ‘Towards Modern Health Care’ by the five-year report of Sri Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital and Dr. Heera Malini Sheshadri and Dr. Divya Seshadri. The Chief Minister assured the authorities of Satyam Hospital all possible cooperation on behalf of the government in the construction of the necessary operation theaters. While praising the service spirit of this hospital, Dr. Singh said that it is like a holy temple, since the establishment of which almost five thousand children have got new life so far. Shri C. Srinivas, President of Sri Satya Sai Health and Education Trust, Shri T.B., Former Minister of Karnataka; Jayachandra, Shri Narasim Murthi, Vice Chancellor of Sri Satya Sai University, Mr. Madhusudan Naidu, Shree Satya Baba’s disciple, Dr. Ashish Kateva, and Dr. Arvind Tygrajan, Director of the hospital were also present on the forum. On this occasion, the Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, Mrs. Niharka Barik Singh, Health Director Mrs. Ranu Sahu and the Director of National Rural Health Mission, Dr Sarveshwar Bhure, along with the Trust and Hospital Officers and a large number of people from abroad and abroad were present.
