Enthusiasm for admission in Swami Atmanand Schools reflects Govt’s success, says Baghel

Bhilai, Aug 02: On Monday, Chief Minister performed bhoomipujan and inauguration of Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools and interacted with the students of Patan Block. Chief Minister said that it is the priority to provide best and quality education. For the purpose, quality infrastructure is being provided along with the science laboratory, library and other facilities.
Chief Minister told the children that they have shown more patience than elders during the Corona period. Corona took away the freedom of children, deprived them of schools and they had to study online. But the students displayed patience and now when the infection of Corona virus has decreased, the government has decided to open the schools.
CM stated to students, “Victory against Covid Pandemic was possible because you took precautions and the same has to be maintained in schools too. All of you should study diligently taking full care of your safety from Covid. I wish you all a bright future”. On the occasion, Chief Minister also interacted with the children through virtual playtform. Nishant of Patan School said that his hobby is drawing and painting and he wants to become a sketch artist as well as have knowledge of English language. Nishant said that by reading English, he will be able to read many useful books available in English language.
He heartily thanked the Chief Minister for opening English Medium Schools. Shiny Gajpal is studying in English Medium School in Selud. Shiny said that the Chief Minister has provided opportunity of studying in English Medium to the children who were not able to take admission in English Medium Schools due to financial constraints. Ramanshu Sahu from Jamgaon R said, “Receiving quality education through English medium in my village is a big achievement.
The teachers have worked hard to shape our future through online education. I am getting such good education in my village near my house”. Aarohi Verma said, “I want to become a doctor. Most of the medical studies and books are in English. English medium will help me to learn English”.
Dharmendra Sinha of Patan Palak Samiti said that Chief Minister’s visionary approach in the field of education is exemplary. Children from rural areas will also now get an opportunity to study in English medium with this initiative. He appreciated the Chief Minister for this initiative and expressed gratitude.
Chandrika Uday, a teacher posted in Patan said that an excellent opportunity for children to know English as well as Hindi is being provided by the government. “We are all engaged in raising the children to make them bright future. We thank the Chief Minister for giving us this opportunity”. On this occasion, Kamlesh Mishra, a citizen of Patan also interacted with the Chief Minister and congratulated him for this initiative.
He said that English medium schools have been started not only in Patan but in all major nearby villages. Chief Minister has provided a big opportunity to the parents who want to provide education to their children. On behalf of the people of Patan, he expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister.
Member of Khadi and Village Industries Board Hemant Dewangan said that this experiment of imparting education through English medium is unique. He appreciated this initiative.
On the occasion, works worth Rs 7.25 crore were inaugurated and bhoomipujan 7 schools were performed. There are 2880 seats and 157 teachers in these schools. The list includes schools in Kumhari, Janjgiri, Patan, Selud, Jamgaon M, Jamgaon R and Ranitarai. Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure presented the report and informed about the achievements. OSD to Chief Minister Ashish Verma, President of Nagar Panchayat Bhupendra Kashyap and other public representatives were present on the occasion. SP Prashant Agarwal, SDM Vipul Gupta, DEO Pravas Singh Baghel and other officers were present.
