English medium school students should perform well in studies: Tekam

School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam inaugurated the 10-day training of the Principals at Swami Atmanand English Medium School held at Administration Academy Nimora, Raipur.
He told the Principal of English medium schools present in the training that along with the use of modern technology in studies, modern methods of management should be used in the running of schools.
To teach children English, it is necessary that teachers and children speak English. The most important thing that the principal has to keep in mind is that all the children studying in school can perform well in speaking and reading along with good character and behavior. He should develop his understanding in various subjects also, in Science, he himself should try various experiments and make his own understanding. Minister Dr. Tekam appeared in the speech delivered in Hindi and English like a chief instructor. Minister Dr. Tekam said that 52 English schools are being run in the state as per the intention of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel.
In order to make these schools attractive, the services of architects have been used to develop them in a new format instead of the traditional buildings. All English medium schools have emerged in a new look. There is a lot of competition among parents for entry into them.
The principal has to maintain the level of these schools. The ten-day training will mainly impart training on issues like Leadership, School Quality, Office Procedure, Vision Mission, Educational Calendar, Operating Procedure. Principal Secretary School Education Dr. Alok Shukla said that all the principals have to study the new National Education Policy. In order to increase children’s self-confidence and to speak English, habit of innovative activity has to be made. Ten days of training is to prepare documents and make school calendars. He said that children of Hindi medium will also come to English medium schools started in the state. Such children should get full support. It is the responsibility of the school principal to increase the capacity of these children.
There should be an atmosphere of English in the school. The laboratory and library set up in the school should also be used to enhance the educational qualification of children. Director of State Council of Educational Research and Training, Mr. D. Rahul Venkat also addressed the training program. On this occasion, Ms. Mitakshara, Additional Director of State Educational Research and Training Council, Mr. Yogesh Shivhare, instructor Priyanka Tripathi, Soumya Raghuveer, Mr. Satyaraj Iyer, D. Darshan and senior education officers of School Education Department were present.
