Encroachments on govt land to be demolished

Mungeli, Sep 28: In weekly review meeting District Collector instructed officials to demarcate encroachments in government land, especially schools and demolish them with notification. He also assessed the progress of development in the district and educational parameters by instructing needful recruitments in the Education Department. He also instructed officials to ensure not to allocate more than 2 halka’s to Patwaris for making official documentation easy for them.
The Collector also reviewed health facilities in interior villages and instructed health officials to ensure door-to-door visit to cut down chances of epidemic and seasonal disease spread. He also reviewed pending and current cases in Public Service Centers as per Public Service Guarantee Act. He also ordered strict action against shops and sellers of prohibited things in open and near school premises. The Collector also reviewed Gauthans and cow dung procurement in the region, block wise.Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyaya Yojna registration and applicant verification was also discussed in the meeting. Present in the meeting were CEO Zila Panchayat Rohit Vyas, Assistant Superintendent of Police Anil Soni, Upper Collector Rajesh Nashine, Joint Collector Teerthraj Agarwal and other officials.
