Eleven Students from Education Faculty got selected through campus placement

Eleven students from Faculty of Education in Indira Gandhi National Tribal University in Amarkantak got selected as TGT by a CBSE affiliated school in Budhar, M.P. through Campus Placement drive. Many more schools are lining up in the University for Campus Placement in coming weeks.
According to Dr. Arun Kumar, Placement Officer of Education Faculty ‘Green Bells Public School in Budhar district has recently organized a campus placement drive in the University.  More than 60 students have participated in rigorous selection process and 11 of them got offer letters from the school.’
Selected students include Nisha Singh Rathour, Kuna Naik (B.Ed.), Aastha Tamrakar, Supriya Soni (B.A.B.Ed.), Sarika Dwivedi, Kajal Tiwari, Chanchal Rajak, Ayushi Biswas, Parul Jain, Keerti Kesharwani and Ankush Soni (B.Sc.B.Ed.). All the students were selected as TGT in different subjects.
This is second campus placement drive in the Education Faculty in last two months. Selected students give credit of their success to the faculty members.
Prof. T.V. Kattimani, Vice-Chancellor, IGNTU congratulated selected students. ‘It is an outstanding achievement of the students. We hope that coordinated efforts by the faculty members will certainly give more results in terms of more campus placement in coming weeks.’
Prof. Sandhya Gihar, Dean, Faculty of Education says that classroom training and opportunities through internship in different schools have cumulated in the success of the students. ‘There are number of schools requesting for campus placement. We hope that in coming weeks we will successfully place more students as TGT and PGT’, she said.
