Bhilai, Nov 24: Considering the rising cases of violent clashes and incidents of fatal attacks on people, Durg Police conducted parade of the history sheeters, goons and miscreants at various police stations as well as sub-division offices. SP Prashant Thakur had directed his subordinates to conduct parade of the goons and instruct them for not getting indulged in criminal activities.
Acting on the directions, CSP (Chhawani) Vishwas Chandrakar conducted the parade of goons at Chhawani while CSP (Durg) Vivek Shukla conducted the same in Durg. Checking of the goons was conducted Police Station wise and thereafter they were called for the counselling session. Police officers warned them of strict action if they indulged in further criminal activities. Cops said that they are maintaining constant vigil on the activities of history sheeters and goons. 14 listed goons of Durg Sub Division; 37 in Bhilai Sub Division while 60 listed rowdies of Chhawani Sub Division attended the parade.
