Ducati drives in new Streetfighter V4, V4 S in India
New Delhi, May 13 (PTI): Italian superbike maker Ducati on Thursday launched new versions of Streetfighter V4 and V4 S in India priced at Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 22.99 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom Delhi).
The two models now come with a BSVI compliant engine which churns out 208 HP of power. “The Streetfighter V4 embodies the spirit of a mean beastly super naked, that is loaded with performance to back it up,” Ducati India Managing Director Bipul Chandra said in a statement. The motorcycle was much awaited by enthusiasts and Ducati fans alike, he added. “We are excited that it is finally available in India for everyone to experience,” Chandra noted. The company said that bookings were open across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata, and Chennai and deliveries will begin as soon as lockdown restrictions are lifted. The Streetfighter V4 and V4S will be the most powerful naked motorcycles to ever go on sale in India. Going by the mindboggling performance of the Panigale V4, the Streetfighter V4 is expected to offer equally thrilling performance from its 1,103cc, Desmosedici Stradale, V4 engine that produces 208hp at 13,000rpm and 123Nm of torque at 9,500rpm.
The kerb weight of the standard version is 201kg, while the S version weighs 199kg.
The Streetfighter V4 S is loaded with top-spec Ohlins suspension, but the standard V4 isn’t poorly kitted by any means. It gets a Showa Big Piston Fork at the front and a Sachs monoshock at the rear (both fully adjustable), as well as a Sachs steering damper.
Both models get Brembo’s top-drawer Stylema Monobloc calipers, along with twin 330mm discs at the front and a 245mm disc and two-piston caliper at the rear. Head here to know all about the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S.
