District level youth festival on December 21

Raipur, Dec 18: District level youth festival is being organized in Raipur district from 10 am on Tuesday, December 21 at Mayaram Surjan Government Higher Secondary School, Choubey Colony. Selected participating artists from Arang, Abhanpur, Tilda and Dharsiwan blocks of Raipur district will participate in the district level youth festival. Apart from this, participants of Municipal Corporation area Raipur / Birgaon can participate in this event by registering directly at the district level.
The genres to be organised during youth festival are : Folk dance, folk songs, solo drama (Hindi/English language/Chhattisgarhi), classical singing Hindustani style, classical singing Carnatic style, Sitar (Classical playing), flute (Classical playing), Tabla (Classical playing), Veena (Classical Playing) ), Mridgam (Classical Instrumental), Harmonium (Sugam Chadan), Guitar Indian or Western Music, Manipuri (Classical Dance), Odissi (Classical Dance), Bharatanatyam (Classical Dance), Kathak (Classical Dance), Kuchipudi ( classical dance) and oratory. Participants can also participate in other disciplines. Participants willing to participate in the above disciplines can register themselves in the Office of Assistant Director Sports and Youth Welfare District Raipur by 20th December. Only the selected participating artists on the registered participant block can participate in the district level youth festival. Artists who secured first position at the district level will be able to participate at the divisional level.
