DGP felicitates Head Constable Ashwani Singh

Bhilai, Aug 18: Director General of Police DM Awasthi honored Head Constable Ashwani Singh with a citation during a gracious programme organised the other day. Ashwani is posted in the Special Branch of Durg District Police and has received the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service. DGP congratulated Ashwani Singh for bringing laurels to the state by his meritorious services.
DGP DM Awasthi honoured police officers and personnel with Outstanding Police Officer Award who received distinguished service, gallantry service and meritorious service medals from January 26, 2020. Awasthi honoured 83 officers / personnel of Chhattisgarh Police with citation. In this programme, Head Constable Ashwani Singh posted in Special Branch of Durg Police was also honored with a citation.
It needs to be mentioned here that on January 26, 2021, Head Constable Ashwani Singh was selected for the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
After felicitating the police officers / personnel, DGP Awasthi said that everyone has done a good job. It is expected that they will continue working in the same manner in future also and will become an inspiration for other officers and employees.
He added that the entire family, including wife and children play an important role in the better working of the cops.
