Devotees participate in Gayatri Mahayajna for welfare of all

Bhilai, Dec 19: Moving ahead with the objectives of promoting divinity in humans, the local unit of All World Gayatri Pariwar conducted Gayatri Mahayajna at Maroda Sector. Through this religious event, they made efforts to create a heavenly environment and prayed for welfare and good health of every person.
They also prayed for prevention of Corona Virus Pandemic and its new variant. The two – day event of Gayatri Mahayajna was organized in the ground between F-Pocket Block 36-43 of Maroda Sector.
On the first day, the programme began with a ‘Kalash Yatra’. The devotees carried pots on their forehead and invited the residents of F pocket Maroda sector and nearby areas to participate in the Yajna.
A large number of women participated in Kalash Yatra. Dr Kamta, Jitendra Prasad Sahu, Prithvi Pal Sahu, Panna Lal Verma and Ghanshyam conducted teh religious rituals. The message from Shantikunj Haridwar was read off by Sub Zone Coordinator SP Singh.
On the second day (Sunday), five Kundiya Gayatri Mahayajna was conducted. The devotees offered aahuti to yajna devta and prayed for happy life and bright future of all and for the prevention of serious diseases like Corona. They offered prayers for everyone’s happiness, peace and prosperity.
The devotees also offered tributes to CDS General Bipin Rawat, his wife and other officers who were martyred in the helicopter crash. Special aahutis of Mahamritunjay Mantra were offered for them. Yajna concluded with Mahapurnahuti, Aarti and Prasad distribution.
Sub Zone Coordinator SP Singh, Dhiraj Lal Tank, Mohan Umre, Loknath Sahu, Prithvi Pal Sahu, Ram Swaroop Sahu, Ramadhar Mahilang, Dhirendra Sahu, Doctor Kamta Sahu, Jitendra Prasad Sahu, AL Chauhan, Neha Chauhan, Mala Rana, Monica Dadsena, Shreya Sahu, CK Dadsena, Pawan Kumar Uike, as well as the members of the Mahila Mandal of Maroda Sector played vital role in organising the event.
