Devidutta Satapathy, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Steel visits FSNL

Bhilai, Nov 24: Devidutta, Satapathy, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Steel, Government of India visited the corporate office of Ferro Scrap Corporation Limited (FSNL) located at Bhilai. All the heads of various departments, FSNL accorded a warm welcome to Devidutta Satapathy, Deputy Secretary. During his visit, Devidutta Satapathy, Deputy Secretary planted a sapling in “Swarna Jayanti Udyan”. He also visited “Waste Paper Recycling Unit” and “Mini Auditorium” at the Corporate Office. He inspected all the departments/sections and met officers and employees.
Shatdal Mitra, Chief General Manager (Finance & Accounts) gave detailed information about the financial position of FSNL. The Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Steel witnessed the operational activities at Bhilai Unit of FSNL and also met the high officials of Bhilai Steel Plant.
Pankaj Tyagi, Deputy General Manager (Admn)/Law through a power point presentation, gave detailed information regarding the physical and administrative status of FSNL to Devidutta Satapathy. He explained that FSNL for the last 41 years is earning continuously on the slogan “Vyarth se Arth (Best out of waste). He provided detailed information about FSNL’s operational activities, customer plants, business and all the units of FSNL located in India. FSNL’s MoU rating and that the institute received the third prize in the form of “Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar” for the best work in the field of official language and the home magazine “Darpan” has been awarded the second prize in the form of Rajbhasha Kirti Award. The office bearers of FSNL Officers Association also met Devidutt Shatpathy and submitted a memorandum putting forth their point of view and said that the decision should be taken keeping in view the promotion of the interests of the officers/employees of FSNL.
The Deputy Secretary also met with the office bearers of the Union of FSNL, Bhilai unit.
