Devendra seeks postponing CGPSC exam dates in view of pandemic

Bhilai, Sep 25: Mayor and MLA Bhilai Nagar Devendra Yadav met the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, and sought extension in the date fixed for conducting the state PSC examination. Supporting the demand made by NSUI District President Aditya Singh, he submitted a demand letter seeking the same.
Devendra explained that the case of Corona infection is increasing in the state due to which the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission Raipur should take initiative to postpone the examination for PSC Main Examination 2019 which is scheduled to be conducted from October 18 to 21, 2020. The situation is grim due to COVID 19 infection and patients are increasing continuously making it even more frightening. In such a situation, conducting the examination can result in a critical situation. All those performing duty in the examination and those appearing for the exams can get infected. It would be appropriate for everyone to postpone the examination given in the current situation.
